Snowy Sensory Bin

This little sensory bin was so fun for both of my kids (ages 2 & 4)! Aaron's favorite was making it snow by picking up handfuls and slowly letting it drop, and Olivia loved the glitter pieces and how they stuck to her fingers. This one was definitely more messy than my usual sensory bins, but it was so worth it!

Materials:

  • White Mini Styrofoam Balls - The Dollar Tree

  • Fake Snow (which is more like chunky white glitter) - The Dollar Tree

  • Sparkly White and Silver Styrofoam Balls - The Dollar Tree

  • Mini Bottlebrush Trees - Target Dollar Section

  • Christmas Cutouts from my Christmas Educational Pack

  • Christmas Letters Sheet & Cutout Letters from my Christmas Educational Pack

To add some learning fun, I hid letter cutouts in the snow! Aaron's job was to find all of the letters and then match them on the page, practicing his letter sound recognition. It worked out really well that Olivia could play with the "snow" while Aaron hunted for letters, and they both had a blast!
