I was so excited when I found this hanging advent calendar in the Target dollar spot!
To add to the overall look, I tied on yarn and hot glued on a couple of DIY pom poms!
For the daily activities, I printed out ThreadMama's Christmas tags and wrote a Christmas activity/event for the day. I spread these out to be about every other day and filled in the extra days with little chocolates, candy canes, or small dollar store finds!
Some of our activities and events this year were:
Christmas lights
Hot chocolate bar
Playing with snow (real or diy fake snow)
Christmas shopping at the dollar store so they could pick out little presents for cousins and grandparents
Christmas movie night
Christmas craft
Pretend Polar Express play
Making birthday cards for our family members who have December birthdays
Decorating Christmas cookies
Family Christmas parties
Baking a birthday cake for baby Jesus
