Pumpkin Patch Sensory Bin

Writer's picture: The Little ThingsThe Little Things

This is our first sensory bin using corn kernels as the base, and my kids are loving it! They love the sound of the corn pouring into the metal buckets, and there's so much to do with counting pumpkins, putting them into rows, or filling the bucket with pumpkins and leaves.

Aaron especially loves filling up the bucket with corn kernels and then transferring it to another bucket. It's fun for him, it's a relaxing activity for me to do with them (or I'm able to get something done quickly while they're playing), and it's building their hand-eye coordination!

Supplies:

  • Farm Truck - Dollar section of Target

  • Corn Kernels

  • Bucket & Scoop - Hobby Lobby

  • Plastic Glittery Leaves - Hobby Lobby

  • Pumpkin Pasta - Trader Joe's

These pennants are available in my Etsy shop! Click here and here to check them out!
