Isn’t this Patriotic Chex Mix the cutest 4th of July treat? I made it a couple of days ago, and it's still holding up really well being refrigerated. I'm sure it'll disappear in minutes tonight at our early 4th of July family party!
Ingredients:
Rice Chex cereal
Pretzels
Cheerios
A “share” size bag of red, white, & blue M&Ms
Marshmallows
White chocolate chips
Coconut oil
Instructions:
Cover a baking pan with wax or parchment paper.
Pour the bag of white chocolate chips in a bowl with a spoonful of coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then repeat until the white chocolate is melted.
Spread a layer of Chex, then Cheerios, then pretzels, then marshmallows, and finally the M&Ms on the prepared baking pan (reserve some of the M&Ms to add on top once you’re done mixing)
Pour the white chocolate over the Chex mix and then mix thoroughly to coat everything in the chocolate.
Sprinkle the last bit of M&Ms over the top of the mix
Enjoy!
