This craft is perfect if you want a gingerbread house without all of the sugar! Or it's great if you want a cute little craft that won't attract the ants. Either way, it was a fun little project to do with my kiddos!
Materials:
Popsicle sticks
Brown paint
Paintbrush
Hot glue gun
Gingerbread printable - it's part of my Christmas Educational Pack, which you can see here!
Silver pipe cleaners
White glue
Directions:
Mama: Hot glue the house together using popsicle sticks. For the roof, use scissors to cut the popsicle sticks to fit. You'll end up using the long end of each cut stick on the bottom of the roof and the short pieces on top!
Kiddos: Let your little ones have fun painting the house!
Mama: Hot glue on the silver pipe cleaner. I also had to hot glue the gum drops on the roof since they're on top of the pipe cleaners.
Kiddos: Break out the white glue and let them have fun placing the decorations and characters! There are even more pieces on the printable that I didn't add, so there are lots of decorating options!
