Olivia's room is feeling very festive thanks to some fall library books, my fall pennants and prints, and this glitter leaf garland! It was so quick and easy to make, so I just had to share it!
Supplies:
Acrylic Paint (I used three shades to create an ombre look)
Modge Podge
Glitter
Paint brush
Fall leaves (mine are from my local dollar store)
Yarn or twine
Clothespins, tape, or glue to attach the leaves
Step 1: Paint your leaf! I only worried about painting the front of mine. This color only needed one coat, but lighter colors will need two.
Step 2: Add the glitter before the paint dries! If you get too much in one spot, you can move it around the leaf with your finger.
Step 3: Once your paint is dry, cover the leaf with Modge Podge to seal in the glitter!
Step 4: Attach your leaves once they're dry to your yarn, twine, or string using a clothespin, tape, or glue!
