It may be 105 degrees outside, but we're studying apples over here and Hobby Lobby has fall AND Christmas decor out. We needed a little sneak preview into the fall season! A lot of his picture books this week were about baking apple pies, like Apples for Little Fox and Give and Take, so I wanted to make it come to life!
This apple pie play dough is so easy to make! I didn't add any food coloring but I added some fall spices! Aaron noticed right away and had fun sniffing it and then started sniffing everything, haha!
I also threw in some extra preschool practice! We cut out circles and rectangles from the dough to make the pie. He counted out the apples for the recipe and then counted out coins to sell slices of pie!
