Poor Olivia was so hungry, but she has the tendency to either grab onto our legs and almost trip us while we're making her some food, or she starts pulling everything out in our kitchen cupboards and she gets herself in trouble. When we put her in her high chair to keep her contained, she cries the whole time, and no one is feeling very chipper. Anyone else experience this... like every day?
Yesterday, I whipped out this sensory bag while her food was in the microwave, and just like that, her tears turned into giggles! It was a perfect little activity to change a frustrating moment into a sweet memory.
Supplies:
Gallon Sized Ziplock
Water
Green & Blue Food Coloring
Glitter & Sequins
Bonus points if you have toy fish or mermaids
Optional: Ice (it was a really hot day, and the cold added a fun, extra element to the experience)
Throw it all in, make sure the bag is sealed really well, and enjoy!
